Convergys and Visage Mobile to Provide Disney Mobile with Billing and Professional Services

Convergys Corporation announced today they have signed a multi-year agreement along with their Mobile Virtual Network Enabler (MVNE) partner Visage Mobile, to provide outsourced MVNO billing and professional services for Disney Mobile.
 
Launching in June 2006, Disney Mobile will provide wireless voice and data services specifically for families. They will also offer customized handsets and service packages. Features will include GPS technology for locating family members and the ability to manage and control phone usage.
 
By means of the agreement, Convergys (News - Alert) will provide Disney Mobile with their Infinys Rating and Billing software and offer training services, support and maintenance.
 
"We will utilize our unparalleled billing and customer care resources to help Disney Mobile launch and deliver a truly unique wireless communications product and customer experience that is in keeping with the respected, family-friendly brand of the Walt Disney Company" said Bob Lento, President of Conevrgys Communications Industry Solutions in a statement to the press.
 
In a similar announcement made today, wireless solutions provider InPhonics said they have signed an agreement to host the data and service platform for Disney's new offering. Their services will provide Disney Mobile with the ability to deliver wireless content and data services such as downloads and applications.
