Zurmo CRM 2.2 Unveiled

Zurmo is a next generation open source customer relationship management (CRM) application that is mobile, social and gamified. It allows companies to create and maintain a custom-built CRM system that is forward compatible.

The solution is equipped with enterprise grade CRM features, including complete Salesforce automation, e-mail marketing, product catalogs, Web-to-lead integration, advanced reporting, workflow and mobile access.

Developers of Zurmo have recently rolled out Zurmo 2.2, which throws emphasis on third party technology platform integrations for Zurmo Pro and Zurmo Group Editions. The new additions include Google (News - Alert) Apps and Google Web Tracking, Rapleaf, Zapier, and Import2.


The Google Apps ConnectorZurmo has used the Rapleaf API to enable users to add additional data on their existing CRM records. The data furnished by Rapleaf is based on the email address associated with a lead or contact. functionality is added in the new version to support all-in-one email archival from Gmail to Zurmo, contact and lead synchronization between both platforms, and the ability to integrate events between Zurmo and Google Calendars.  Furthermore,

Also, by integrating Zapier, Zurmo users can now preset tasks between other online platforms. User can now gain direct interaction between Zurmo and applications like Wufoo, Yammer, Dropbox, WordPress, Evernote (News - Alert), and many other applications.

Import2 has also been integrated to automate data import to Zurmo from other CRMs, such as Zoho, SugarCRM, or Salesforce. Users can perform this event with a single click of a button, and they can also control the data they store in the cloud apps. The tool allows for simple migration of data in and out of apps.

Apart from all these features, the integration of Google Web Tracking with Zurmo is intended to offer an improved view of customer activity on a website, which is useful for marketing, sales, and reporting.

This feature rich version is aimed at Community and Commercial offerings and includes phase two gamification functionality, cases, and project management. This version is expected to hit the market this autumn.
