Amcom's Solutions Selected by Leading Medical Center in Qatar

Amcom Software, Inc., a subsidiary of USA Mobility (News - Alert), Inc., recently announced that its emergency notification and call center solutions have been selected by Sidra Medical and Research Center in Qatar, a vision of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser who envisions the facility as the most advanced medical institute in the Middle East and a world center of excellence in patient care, research and medical education.

Amcom’s notification systems can send specific messages via a preferred device list and track results. The users can notify people in many ways, including wireless devices, numeric and alphanumeric pagers, home, office and cellular telephones, as well as email and networked LCD display panels. The flexibility allows the users to assign multiple methods of notification to each individual, and a priority level for each method. Some users also take advantage of the feature that allows them to create text alerts for display on networked LCD boards throughout a facility.

Moreover, Amcom’s call center solutions enable operators to connect staff and external callers in a way that is accurate, fast, reliable, and professional. The solutions include an attendant console that offers an efficient means of accessing all the information and procedures necessary to process all your calls effectively. Integrated telephony interfaces let the users perform operations like transfers and paging with a mouse click. The solution also features web-based directory, allowing the users to go online to update information and use the site for directory lookup and paging. Moreover, the speech recognition feature helps the users to offload calls that can be handled automatically, allowing operators to focus on other tasks.
