The research firm has honored 1Stream with this award based on a recent analysis of the hosted contact centre market.
Established in 2008, 1Stream provides cloud based call centre technology in Southern Africa. This award is given to the company as it successfully demonstrated excellence in growth strategy and growth implementation.
Frost & Sullivan has appreciated 1Stream to have shown customer value leadership and speed of response to market needs. In addition, the company is lauded to exhibit a high degree of innovation in terms of products and technologies.
In 2011, 1Stream experienced very high growth and according to Frost & Sullivan jumped the 100% year-on-year growth mark. Today, the company has an impressive list of multinational clients and is known to sign a big deal that involved hosting the contact centre facility for a global online retail company in Cape Town.
“In this context, 1Stream demonstrated superior agility and speed of execution through its ability to set up a fully-fledged contact centre solution within three months,” said Ishe Zingoni, analyst at Frost & Sullivan.
1Stream established a new office in Johannesburg earlier this year and is using this place to address the burgeoning demand for cloud-based contact centres.
This Johannesburg office provides clients with on-the-ground operations and support and improves 1Stream's response to market needs.
Other achievements for this year include investing R10 million in a contact centre platform in Gauteng, and rolling out a new platform with its hosting partner Teraco.
1Stream was in news last year for adding Salesforce integration into its hosted contact center offering.
