Call Center On Demand Featured Article
Five9 Ranked as Fast Growing Company in the San Francisco Bay Area
California-based Five9 has been ranked sixty-first on the San Francisco Business Times’ annual list of Top 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies.
The company pioneered the on-demand call center software market in 2001 and till date it continues to grow and enhance its product platform. Five9 (News - Alert) claims it delivers reliable, scalable on-demand call centers quickly, at a cost of ownership far lower than traditional premise-based solutions.
The newspaper recently published the list in a special edition and the 2010’s list ranks privately owned Bay Area-based companies by revenue growth for the three-year period from 2007 to 2009.
This particular period was characterized by global economic crisis and Five9 notes that throughout these two years, it enjoyed significant revenue growth as its customer base doubled and its user base more than tripled.
“We are pleased to be recognized by the San Francisco Business Times as one of the fastest growing private companies in the San Francisco Bay Area, arguably the world’s most prolific and prosperous region for technology innovation. Inclusion of Five9 in the list underscores our leadership position in the on-demand call center software market,” said Mike Burkland, CEO of Five9. “Our consistent revenue growth over these past several years has been fueled by record levels of new customers choosing Five9’s on-demand software solution over traditional premise-based solutions. As one of the largest companies on the list, we are proud of the fact that we achieved this growth while at the same time remaining profitable.”
Five9 has also been ranked 21st in the San Francisco Business Times’ sub-grouping of the Fastest-Growing Private Companies in the East Bay.
Earlier this month, Five9 announced its participation in RightNow’s Summit 2010 Americas conference on October 12 to 14, at the Broadmoor luxury resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
