PelicanCorp and Pass Word Team on Wyoming 811 Call Before You Dig Program
The OneCallAccess solution from PelicanCorp will be used for Wyoming's 811 Call Before You Dig program. The software solution will enable the program to enhance One Call operations across the state. It will be used in tandem with the Pass Word Inc. solution to operate Wyoming's 811 Call Center and technical support.
PelicanCorp and Pass Word worked together to configure OneCallAccess to meet Wyoming's specific needs. The combined solutions are designed to beef up support and call center operations and overhaul the entire process for handling 811 calls throughout the state.
According to Duane Rodgers, CEO of PelicanCorp, OneCallAccess fully manages e-ticket and call center operations. The solution is hosted in a high availability cloud environment and manages all One Call tickets from any location at any time. The offering features advanced web and mobile technologies and is architected using a unique mapping platform. The result is a highly accurate ticket capture offering.
"We are happy to continue our partnership with PelicanCorp on the Wyoming win," said Rod Bacon, president of Pass Word, Inc. "Our One Call Service operation provides highly trained customer service staff with expertise based on 35 years in the industry. In combination with PelicanCorp's global damage prevention experience, our expertise is the perfect fit to enhance the Wyoming One Call operation."
"We are moving into this new phase of technology to meet the needs of our membership and the public," added Jan M. Warren, BSL and executive director of One-Call of Wyoming. "Infrastructure protection and public safety are our top priorities; it's simply why we exist. This partnership brought to us by our vendors will ensure that our state regulatory requirements are being met while providing our users with the best up-to-date technology and services."
The new system is set to begin accepting new requests via the website in November.
