Call Center Furniture Manufacturer Interior Concepts Wins Business Recognition Award
By Patrick Barnard, Group Managing Editor, TMCnet
Call center furniture manufacturer Interior Concepts was recently honored with a 2010 Business Recognition Award from the Grand Haven-Spring Lake-Ferrysburg (Michigan) Chamber of Commerce for its use of new design software, ICE Edge Software.
The software has helped Interior Concepts streamline its design and quoting process, as well as the manufacturing of the furniture. With this software customers can see what the call center furniture will look like in the space where it will be installed before it is manufactured. In addition it allows customers to take 3-D "virtual tours" of the spaces that are being designed. What's more, prospects can take virtual tours of facilities which Interior Concepts has already designed on its website.
David Kendrick, president of Interior Concepts, explained in a release that this new design software has decreased time to market because it allows customers to take a "walk-through" to confirm the design criteria -- and from there can be sent directly to production.
Interior Concepts also offers education furniture and custom office furniture.
In addition to the Business Recognition Award, Interior Concepts also received a Special Tribute certificate from the State of Michigan, signed by Governor Jennifer Granholm, recognizing its many accomplishments as well as its role as a leader in the community.
In May Interior Concepts announced that it was a winner at the sixth annual Progressive Manufacturing 100 Awards, where it received additional recognition as a Progressive Manufacturer of the Year for a Small Company.
