Customer engagement is a critical proposition. In the omnichannel age organizations are provided a plethora of options presented to interact with current and prospective customers. Adding a touch of complexity to matters is compliance, and rigorous data handling standards.
Verint (News - Alert) Systems announced an expanded partnership with Microsoft, joining the One Commercial Partner Program. Membership makes for co-sell ready status for Verint’s complete customer engagement portfolio.
“With Verint, financial services customers are able to capture all Skype (News - Alert) for Business communications, record PSTN call scenarios via Teams, avoid compliance failures before they occur, and accelerate and improve compliance investigations,” said Verint’s John Bourne, senior vice president, global channels and alliances. “We’re delighted to bring these benefits to Microsoft (News - Alert) customers to help manage risk and meet regulatory demands in today’s multi-channel/multi-modal communications era.”
From MiFID II, to the Dodd-Frank Act, Verint aims to support mounting regulatory demands putting the customer first. Recent research from Accenture (News - Alert) highlights that nearly 90 percent of respondents note increased investment in compliance over the next two years, and Verint plans to be a prominent player in supporting Skype for Business in compliance efforts.
This announcement builds on a growing relationship with Microsoft that saw Verint’s call recording solution earn Microsoft’s highest certification for Skype for Business. Now, Verint’s call recording solution also supports Microsoft Teams.
Customer engagement is a challenge, sure. But with the appropriate solutions in place, this obstacle can be overcome while remaining in compliance with rigorous regulatory requirements.
