Compliance is not optional in today’s highly-regulated landscape. From the trading floor at a financial services firm, to the contact center there is no margin for error, which is driving the need for robust call accounting solutions in place to support this growing demand, as well as your company’s interests.
Recently, VerintVerba 9.1 was unveiled. The first round of enhancements to the Verint (News - Alert) Verba 9.0 are robust to say the least., including fixes and improvements to the previous launch along with the addition of data loss capabilities, new dashboards and integrations promising to instantly compliance efforts.
Starting with enhancements; the Recording Assurance Dashboard illuminates voice quality check, CDR reconciliation as well as recorder health data. The System Dashboard offers up-to-date system information via diagrams and counters.
A number of new integrations greatly expand compliance options. Cisco (News - Alert) Jabber File Transfer allows users to capture and store Cisco Jabber file transfers leveraging Managed File Transfer Functionality. Verint Verba 9.1 natively supports SMS recording via SMPP protocol. Official certification is in progress with IPC Unigy to record calls from the trading platform. The release is equipped to capture specific Genesys (News - Alert) metadata and offer selective recording in Cisco environments due to a new CTI/T-Server based integration.
Speaking of Cisco, users can now capture Cisco Sparks IMs with basic “re-active” ethical wall capabilities for Spark. And specific enhancements for Cisco users include the ability to connect to multiple CUCM clusters as well as MediaSense Video on Demand replacement enabling Verint Verba users to replace video queuing capabilities formerly available on the now discontinued Cisco MediaSense.
Verint Verba 9.1 also includes Central License Management and an improved Active Directory Sync. The enhanced active directory noticeably accelerates the synchronization process, while Central License Management boils license management down to a single interface.
Call accounting solutions are a key cog in the wheel of compliance. Navigating highly regulated waters with compass in place is a treacherous decision.
