Nexus Puts an Emphasis on Healthcare

ISI (News - Alert) recently had the opportunity to attend the 2014 Nexus Kickoff event. This year’s show celebrated Nexus’ 10 year anniversary. And, while the focus of the event was to bring key Nexus partners together for discussion, one topic stepped to the forefront: Healthcare.
Nexus has made the healthcare industry their center of attention. This focus comes at a perfect time, as more and more industries are subjected to compliance demands. The healthcare industry specifically has a need for a solution to monitor interactions for HIPAA compliance.
Since hospitals are highly regulated by HIPAA, there isn’t much room for error. Nexus is investing heavily in this. With ISI and Verba’s collaboration reporting and recording solution, the healthcare industry has an answer to providing recording for all patient call interactions.
An extension of this collaboration solution is the ability to archive IM interactions, as well as calls and video. This broadens the facilities ability to reach out to patients. Information and outbound calls regarding test results or follow-up appointments can be handled in a secure and private manner. This includes the ability to make Jabber IM compliant, which is something that has previously been a competitive disadvantage. Jason Brandt, Healthcare Practice Manager at Nexus, was particularly excited about the ability to assist facilities with compliance regulations.
