ISI Telemanagement Solutions has announced a partnership with Verba Technologies to launch a full collaborative reporting and recording solution.
“Collaboration is on everyone’s mind, but a lot of companies haven’t considered how they will measure their collaborative solutions,” said David Dishek, unified collaboration practice lead for ISI (News - Alert). “In order to get the most out of voice, video, and instant messaging interactions, you have to be able to monitor, report, and record them.”
The system will be able to track voice, video and instant messaging conversations throughout an organization, providing what ISI calls a “Singular User Experience.”
Users can access records of voice and video, view call metrics, and search transcriptions of instant messaging conversations.
The solution works with a number of popular conferencing methods in the enterprise, including Cisco’s (News - Alert) Jabber and Microsoft Lync.
Verba has added the ability to record from Cisco TDM gateways and the CUBE SBC. This gives businesses the ability to record calls made from remote extensions and Jabber calls, in addition to calls made from Cisco phones.
Solutions like these are becoming popular in the financial industry to comply with new regulations under the Dodd-Frank law, which requires financial institutions engaged in certain trading operations to record their communications.
ISI Telemanagement also recently welcomed Mark Friedman (News - Alert) as president of the company. Friedman, too, sees the company’s future in tracking unified communications conversations.
“I am looking forward to expanding on my current role, having a greater impact on our sales strategy, and increasing our market reach," Friedman, said. "While ISI has its grass roots in traditional Call Accounting, we have transformed ourselves over the years into the premier Unified Collaboration Reporting and Recording provider in the industry. The transition to President of ISI will bring new challenges but, with the assistance of ISI's quality management team and staff, I am confident that ISI will continue to bring relevant, cutting-edge telecom management solutions and unparalleled customer service to our direct and partner sales channels for many more years to come, and I am honored and excited to lead this charge."
