The 2013 Worldwide Partner Conference has come to an end. Though the activities may have subsided, the energy from Microsoft’s (News - Alert) event continues to linger. Even after Lenny Kravitz and Fitz & the Tantrums hit the stage, the attendees were clamoring for more. All in all, this year’s WPC was awesome, but what did we learn from being present?
A lot of what Microsoft is focusing on isn’t new. Increasing their cloud presence falls in line with current business demand. Coupling this with the continual evolution of enterprise social technologies and big data, Microsoft has built a formidable plan to bring impactful solutions to its partner network.
For ISI (News - Alert) in particular, Microsoft’s push into enterprise social comes with much anticipation. Microsoft views their CRM tool, Dynamics CRM, as an enterprise social solution that can transform the way a company interacts. This plays directly in line with ISI’s Infrotel® CRM Infuze, which integrates Dynamics with call and video reporting, recordings, and analytics.
Microsoft will continue to open new avenues of business, and as they do, organizations around the world will evolve to a more cloud-centric, unified system. What are your thoughts on WPC?
