Telesoft, a provider of call accounting software and services, announced that it has been selected by the State of Arizona to provide telecom expense management software and services.
As part of this agreement, Telesoft will manage more than $36 million in fixed telecom spend for the State, spanning 675 locations that are supplied by 46 vendors. The company will also manage receipt and payment of the State’s 7,500 mobile devices accounting for more than $4 million in expenditure, company officials said.
“State budgets are under immense scrutiny and pressures to reduce expenses are always present,” said Gary Hensley, chief networking officer for the State of Arizona, in a statement. “Given the size of expenditure and the complexity of invoices that we manage, having the Telesoft TEM platform and services will help us address these issues and keep our costs in check.”
The State of Arizona will utilize the company’s expertise in invoice processing software and services. Through these services, the State aims to reduce telecom expenses by managing the entire lifecycle of an invoice from receipt through payment all while validating and disputing erroneous charges.

In addition to offering services for receipt and payment of invoices on behalf of the State, Telesoft will also directly invoice state agencies on behalf of the State for their use of telecom services. The company is responsible for collecting payments from those agencies to ensure that each agency is responsible for their part of the State’s expenditures as a whole.
“Telesoft’s selection by the State of Arizona as their TEM provider is a testament to the value of TEM and the reliability of Telesoft products and services,” said Thierry Zerbib, chief executive officer and co-founder of Telesoft, in a statement. “We’re excited to undertake this project with the State and looking forward to providing them with the best expense management tools the industry has to offer.”
