Snom Introduces New 'Office in a Box' Phone System

Snom announced its new M500 Pro wireless family of products.

The M500 Pro is an easy-to-use, cloud-accessible, provision-capable, SIP-based Key System Unit that offers freedom from the limitations of wired networks. This “office-in-a-box” type of solution features three programmable components made with intuition in mind: the M500 Pro Multicell Base Station, the M58 Desk Phone, and the M55 Handset.

The M500 Pro wireless family’s critical advantages for businesses include how:

• It utilizes Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (DECT) technology for better security and reliability than traditional Wi-Fi.
• Its two base stations and 16 handsets (or desksets) will soon be expandable for up to six base stations and a whopping 48 handsets.
