RingCentral Announces First Venture Into Mexico

Cloud solutions and video conferencing leader RingCentral recently revealed a new partnership with Mexican telecommunications provider, MCM.

This announcement marks yet another strategic move by RingCentral to expand its presence in untapped markets. The company has been on a hot streak with partnerships across the globe, including recent deals in countries that included Germany and India. It should come as no surprise that RingCentral has decided to break new ground with one of Mexico’s most well-known telecom service providers.

As part of this new agreement, both RingCentral and MCM plan to co-offer a new solution offering called RingCentral for Symphony, which MCM plans to make its primary UCaaS offering for business customers. The collaboration will create a one-stop shop for customers looking to invest in highly flexible collaboration tools, including phone capabilities and video conferencing, supported by MCM’s advanced fiber network and cloud and data management services.

“We are providing integrated business apps and advanced communications functions into a single communications space for the enterprise ecosystem. The RingCentral partnership came at exactly the right time when we were looking for something fresh, different, out of the box, for our customers,” said Benito Ohara, CEO, MCM Telecom. “Businesses today are operating in a highly dynamic environment and our new joint solution enables them to accelerate transformation initiatives with faster deployment, greater mobility, and increased flexibility.”

This new relationship is clearly a win-win for both companies; RingCentral will now be able to showcase its portfolio of collaboration tools to businesses and enterprises across Mexico, and MCM will be able to provide a completely new line of business enhancements for the increasingly hybrid-focused global workforce.

“We’re excited to be expanding to Mexico through our partnership with MCM. Together, MCM and RingCentral will deliver the latest business communications capabilities to enterprises across Mexico,” said Sandra Krief, Vice President, Service Provider Americas at RingCentral. “We’re looking forward to working closely with MCM to ensure people have access to next-generation communications and collaboration solutions and can work productively and efficiently from anywhere.”
