The pandemic propelled widespread change; shifting how and where we work, and making quality communications even more critical. In addition to an impacted workforce, the supply chain felt the ripple effect of COVID, with chip shortages and manufacturing delays. For many IP endpoint providers this is proving to be a pain point, but clearly not for all.

Today, ClearlyIP announces the arrival of the second generation of ClearlyIP CIP Deskphones, developed to work seamlessly with any SIP-based PBX or softswitch.

Two short years after introducing its version 1 C IP deskphones, ClearlyIP put its expertise in innovation on display, adding a Dual Core processor chip delivering two big benefits. With one core dedicated to running a Real Time Operating System (ROTS) for voice, and the additional core focused on delivering all other functional, the end user gains enhanced voice quality, and a more crisp experience while leveraging other functions on the next generation deskphones.

The design, aesthetics and features of both generations of deskphones are identical, offering interoperability with the primary difference being the internal components. Users and resellers retain the ability to rebrand the deskphones.

The Clealry devices are easily provisioned via ClearlyIP Device Manager software or Clearly Device module for FreePBX based systems.

Today’s announcement marks the first of Fall v2 IP phone releases following its Cloud Device Manager, with the CIP270V2 leading the lineup, followed on October 15 by the CIP250V2 and the CIP 230V2 on November 15.
