Announces New Board of Director Members

The cloud-based telecommunications company Ooma just announced two new members to its board of directors, Chief Financial Officer Ravi Narula and General Counsel Jenny Yeh. Both Narula and Yeh have been key in Ooma’s growth in recent years, and their election to the board hopes their leadership will help continue Ooma’s success into the next year.

“With the start of Ooma’s new fiscal year on February 1 st, now is the time to expand the expertise on our board of directors,” said Eric Stang, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Ooma. “Ravi and Jenny have each contributed greatly to Ooma’s success and I’m confident they will add strategic insight, along with deep knowledge of the company’s objectives and opportunities, to the board’s deliberations.”

Ravi Narula joined Ooma in 2014 as CFO, and was a key factor in helping drive the company’s profitability and shareholder value. Before his career at Ooma, Narula held the CFO title for BigBand Networks , and worked in senior finance positions at Gigamon and Deloitte & Touche.

“I’m honored to be joining Ooma’s board and look forward to having a greater role in driving growth and further increasing long-term shareholder value,” said Narula, “I’m delighted to join this incredible board and look forward to more actively crafting and executing Ooma’s strategy.”

Jenny Yeh joined Ooma in 2018 as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, and has built a strong legal foundation for the company, while also leading regulatory and compliance initiatives across the company’s domestic and international operations. Prior to starting at Ooma, Yeh was a senior vice president and general council at Sphere 3D, as well as executive counsel of General Electric’s corporate business development group.
