As the world does more of its personal and enterprise business online, the need for customer experience management has never been greater. Companies no longer compete on their swanky offices, their personable frontline salespeople or their stylish logo: they compete on how easy their customer journey is. Inefficient customer experience management can turn small problems into lost business and opportunities, so it’s critical that companies get it right from the beginning.

Customer experience software provider Swell recently announced a new integration with LogMeIn, a provider of software as a service and cloud-based remote connectivity services for collaboration, IT management, and customer engagement. Swell’s toolset helps businesses improve customer service and their online reputations.

The collaboration with LogMeIn will add VoIP functionality to Swell by adding VoIP conferencing solutions to the Swell app through LogMeIn's unified communications and collaboration tool, GoToConnect. Swell has integrated with GoToConnect so users can take advantage of a centralized virtual location through which to speak to customers over VoIP, text, live web chat, Facebook Messenger, and more. Swell CEO Drew Sparks calls it “a single pane of glass.”

"With this new integration, we're adding VoIP to our growth platform,” he said in a statement. “Customers who use GoToConnect and Swell can now make calls right inside the Swell app. This way they can text customers, chat with them live online, and switch to a phone call in seconds, all with just a few clicks. We'll also be expanding this integration over time. Next, we plan on adding the ability to launch GoToConnect video conferences from inside Swell.”

Swell’s toolset helps businesses discover what customers think through online reviews and surveys. Next, it helps businesses connect with customers and prospects through convenient channels like text, live web chat, and now VoIP phone calls. Last, it can assist businesses growth by helping companies find ways to improve the customer journey, and by helping them use customer reviews as powerful social proof.
