Avaya Takes DaaS Offering to Canada and Europe

Device as a Service (DaaS) is a new way for businesses to outsource the management of any phones, PCs and mobile devices on a monthly- basis. It not only takes the hassle out of maintaining solutions but also makes scaling up or down easy when needed.



In a bid to deliver the simplicity and affordability to its customers across the globe, Avaya has announced it's brinigng its DaaS offering beyond the U.S. to also offer it in Canada and Europe.

With the Avaya DaaS offering, businesses can have all of Avaya’s latest smart devices without having to make hefty upfront purchases. Instead, they have the flexibility of a monthly subscription and upgrade to newer or higher priced devices when needed without penalty.

This latest push to expand into new territories follows the successful launch of its DaaS offering to the U.S. market in 2018.

Customers can contract for terms of 1, 3, or 5 years and include the following devices in their month-to-month cloud service subscription:

  • Avaya IX IP Phones
  • Avaya Vantage portfolio
  • Select Avaya IX Conference Phones
  • Avaya IX Collaboration Unit

Hardy Myers, Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at Avaya commented on the news saying, “This announcement, along with the recently announced Avaya IX™ Subscription offer and the Avaya’s OneCloud set of service offers, now enables customers to leverage an OpEx model for both their Avaya software and their Avaya devices.”
