Sinch Acquires myElefant to Deliver Optimal Customer Services

In a move to help businesses further deliver optimal care, Sinch, a provider of cloud communications for mobile customer engagement, has announced the acquisition of myElefant, a cloud-based software platform for mobile engagement that provides rich, interactive messaging.


The deal, which is expected to close early this month, was closed with an upfront cash consideration of EUR 18.5 million with an additional cash earn out of up to EUR 3 million within two years if certain gross profit targets are met.

According to company officials, the purchase is part of Sinch’s strategy to offer even more CPaaS products and services for customers. Offerings it provides include: SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, personalized video, voice and a tier-one mobile operator network.

With myElefant as a part of Sinch, we can offer our global customer base and established ecosystem partners a sophisticated software platform, with powerful real-time analytics, that offers a step-change in customer experience,” said Oscar Werner, CEO of Sinch.

Over 160 enterprise customers are currently using the company’s platform for rich media capabilities and mobile landing page offerings. The company’s low-code design tools are perhaps one of it’s leading offerings because it makes it easy for businesses to easily create immersive media experiences.
