Audiocodes Releases VoIP Monitoring Solution on Microsoft Azure

The software-as-a-service (SaaS) model has opened new opportunities for businesses and changed the way we sell and buy business software solutions. Microsoft Azure is one of the most widely used platforms for disseminating SaaS: it’s a cloud computing service designed for building, testing, deploying, and managing applications and services through Microsoft-managed data centers.

VoIP solutions and data networking company Audiocodes recently announced that its One Voice Operations Center (OVOC) is joining the AudioCodes Mediant VE SBC on Azure. One Voice is a web-based lifecycle management and monitoring solution for cloud- or premises-based VoIP deployments. It provides enterprises with life-cycle FCAPS (fault, configuration, accounting, performance and security) management and voice network design.

The One Voice solution combines management of voice network devices and quality of experience monitoring into a single, intuitive web-based application. It was created to simplify everyday tasks and assist in troubleshooting VoIP network issues from detection to correction, and supports direct routing session border controllers (SBCs), multi-tenancy and end-to-end quality monitoring between teams, clients and SBCs.

The benefits of One Voice in Microsoft Azure mean that enterprise IT staff using OVOC to manage their voice networks are better positioned to take advantage of the scalability, high availability, and security of Azure, with streamlined deployment and management, according to the company.

AudioCodes has announced that it’s making the One Voice Operations Center available from Azure Marketplace on a "try-before-you-buy" basis, using a limited license, allowing customers to try the solution for free before live deployment.
