Cloud Business Communications Market Thriving - Digerati Focuses on Acquisitions

The business communications market is alive and thriving. Digerati Technologies, which provides cloud services, specifically UCaaS solutions for the SMBs, was recently interviewed by UK-based Proactive Investors to talk more about the growing space and how it plans to continue its success into the future.

CEO Arthur Smith sat down to talk about the reason more businesses are moving to the cloud, why it’s an attractive option with so much potential for growth.

A $30B market opportunity, according the Smith.

A recent report from Grand View Research predicts the global unified communications market will reach $143.49B by 2024, as businesses grow on a global level and look to real-time communications, cloud and efficiency gains.

Ultimately, he said, the company’s goal is to target the largest state economies in the U.S. and acquire other businesses in these regions. Specifically, those who have “focused on the local touch” in their markets.

Part of the company’s acquisition strategy, Smith said during the interview, is to help consolidate smaller providers who have been doing a great job offering services so they can reach further and target some of the larger market.

Two of the company’s most recent acquisitions, the purchase of Florida’s T3 Communications in 2018 and the acquisition of Synergy Telecom in Texas, has helped Digerati Technologies to rapidly grow revenue and establish a “solid operating base.”

As subsidiaries, the company is able to deliver it’s simple, flexible and reliable communication and network solutions over it’s carrier grade network for the businesses in these markets.  This is a push Smith said the company will continue to focus on especially as the move to the cloud becomes a requirement.
