Pace Celebrates Anniversary with New Cloud Communications Services

For telecom service providers the choice is simple: innovate, expand and push, or rest on laurels and watch the digital age drive by. The cloud is enabling opportunity, and many are embracing the growing phenomenon that is cloud communications.

Pace Telecom recently celebrated its 25^th anniversary, and marked the occasion with the announcement of new services. On July 9^th, the telecom provider unveiled its new service deployment for the Secretary of State for Wales.

The two primary additions to Pace arsenal came as a result of customer feedback: cloud-based call recording and call reporting. Built on the Centile unified communications platform, ISTRA, Pace is able to offer a wide range of communications services.

Pace Telecom’s CEO Jamie Hughes explained  “Centile’s ISTRA platform has helped us create a scalable, flexible and innovative framework on which customers can rely on for years to come.  Centile’s service is reliable, it offers advanced technology, has a proven market track record and good support, which is essential to us.”

A notable feature for Pace customers is MOBIS – a mobile application that puts the power of cloud-based unified communications, and all that entails, in your smartphone.

Mr Hughes continues, “2018 is a pivotal year for us.  As well as the new services and offices, we are actively recruiting new staff in the area and we are also embarking on an acquisition strategy, to further augment our skillset with complementary technologies and services.”

Service providers do not have a choice in the dog-eat-dog world of cloud communications. Either evolve and expand or get left in the dust.
