Unified Office Aims for Quality with New Patent

Unified Office says it aims to make the kind of UC solutions that were once only available to the largest companies accessible to the small and medium business set. It markets those services under the name Total Connect Now.

The Total Connect Now also features sentiment analysis. That enables organizations to understand what language callers are speaking, what mood they are in, and whether they are a regular customer.

Unified Office also offers Internet of Things solutions. In fact, the company has been working with MAR Pizza Group, one of Domino’s largest franchisees, on that front.

The customer, which has 70 stores, first called on Unified Office for its VoIP phone services. The solution allowed them to miss fewer calls by redirecting calls that would result in busy signals to other service reps or locations within the franchise. And it offers a dashboard through which managers can see call volumes and hold times. That enabled the franchise to increase its revenues by more than 35 percent in the first week of using the Unified Office VoIP solution.

It was such a success, that the same customer embarked on an IoT project with Unified Office. The communications solution provider installed sensors on and provided connectivity to and monitoring of prep tables and refrigerators to ensure they avoid spoilage and comply with regulations.
