Ignite Calls on 9 for Mobile Services

Ignite, which provides communications solutions to U.K. businesses, is adding mobile services through its partnership with 9. The company says this is noteworthy because the fragmented market means businesses are often confused about which solution to pick from which company, and they want one trusted advisor and point of contact for all their communications services. Adding mobile to the Ignite portfolio, it says, will better position it to be that single point of contact.


Headquartered in Essex, with an office in London, Ignite caters to businesses of all sizes. It offers cloud computing, connectivity, managed services, mobile telephony, and telephone systems. And it has more than 400 partners and more than 16 years experience in the channel.

The new Ignite offering is powered by 9’s Think Outside the Box proposition, which leverages connectivity from O2 and Vodafone. 9 explains the proposition like this: “Think Outside the Box is a programme designed to quickly and simply provide these new Partners with a run rate telecommunications business, without having to immediately invest in unfamiliar and expensive resources.

“The programme begins with a comprehensive on-boarding experience to equip partners with the knowledge and tools they require to sell 9’s products and services,” the company explains. “Sales enablement and training is then backed up by field based technical sales support and a range of marketing deliverables to help you grow your business. Additional Value Added Services, such as Virtual Office and Managed Billing with a named direct debit facility, can provide partners with a plug and play soluton for their back office requirements too.”

9 sells IP telephony under the name eve. It offers the ability to provision, change, install analog and ISDN orders. It leverages fiber and Ethernet. And it provides mobile capabilities that are integrated with business systems, collaboration, IaaS, productivity, security, and virtual office services. In fact, 9 is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner.

9’s managed billing service can provide mobile bills on partners’ behalf. It can also include direct debit collection. 9 can also produce collateral for marketing, deliver training, stage events that drive brand awareness and sales, and provide dashboards for data insight.
