As Hillary Clinton noted, “It takes a village,” and while Clinton’s reference is toward children, the same holds true in technology. Creating a network of partners, all experts in a particular niche creates much in the way of opportunity, and in delivering exceptional solutions that exceed expectations.

Recently, Horizon Telecom (HTI) turned to its partner Alepo to facilitate the launch of advanced VoIP and FTTx services in Myanmar. By bringing Alepo into the equation, HTI can promise the delivery of innovative data services, as well as an excellent end-to-end customer experience.

“At HTI, we see a lot of potential in the telecommunications market in South East Asia and therefore plan to launch the next-gen services of VoIP and FTTx services in Myanmar,” said Nyan Win, Vice-Chairman, and CEO at HTI Myanmar. “With Alepo as our technology partner, we want to gain a competitive edge and become the drivers of ICT growth in the region.”

The endgame for HTI here is gaining the capability to offer the best of the best in data and voice services to customers in Myanmar, coming as a result of leveraging a number of products from the Alepo product suite. These include: Alepo’s AAA, CRM, VoIP mobile app, interconnect, billing, charging and a number of other modules. Once deployed, HTI can start earning on its VoIP and FTTx services in Myanmar.

Why the move now? HTI is seeking to settle into the bottom floor of a Myanmarian market projected for explosive growth over the next five years. Only time will tell but HTI certainly appears ahead of the curve.

“We are extremely proud to support HTI Myanmar in pioneering next-generation services across Myanmar”, said Vani Manian, Technical Director of Sales in APAC. She added, “With Alepo-enabled FTTx and, VoIP service, HTI Myanmar will gain a competitive advantage and a compelling business strategy for future growth.”

VoIP adoption around the globe is on the rise. Ubiquity may not be right around the corner, but momentum is building in IP communications. The benefits of business VoIP are plain to see, stay tuned. This is a market on the move.
