Voipfuture, a developer of voice quality monitoring software, recently announced that Partner Communications Company, an Israeli telecom, has begun using Voipfuture Qrystal to monitor several parts of its voice-over-IP and customer-facing operations.

The partnership between the two companies reportedly grew out of the technical knowledge they each have for their respective markets. Voipfuture brings its expertise in voice and data monitoring to the table; Partner has a number of business VoIP services already under its wing, and it plans to release more in the future. This has led Voipfuture Manager Eyal Ullert to comment that his company is excited to see what Qrystal can offer Partner.

“Voipfuture is very proud to work with Partner, a leading Israeli communications operator,” Ullert said. “A customer relationship like this is very pleasing. On one hand it is demanding. On the other hand it allows both of us to keep ahead – each in our own area.”

How will Voipfuture keep ahead of its own ambitions? Its leverage in this partnership comes from using Partner as a testbed for handling the deployment of new voice services. TMC has previously noted that the Qrystal software can monitor all VoIP traffic on a company network. It will run through the gauntlet at Partner by finding use in the telecom’s customer service, wholesale, and VoIP troubleshooting operations. Those elements of the business will not operate entirely independent of one another, so Qrystal will also face the challenge of dealing with overlap it its analysis of the goings on.

This has led Partner’s head of network engineering, Ronen Keshet, to note that Voipfuture showed itself valuable within the first month after his company began using Qrystal. The software has reportedly brought complete visibility into the telecom’s network. This way, it can better provide an initial offering of VoIP services to its customers and then bolster those services with high-quality customer support.

Partner’s use of Qrystal is expected to extend throughout its offering of new voice services, so Voipfuture will get a first-hand look at how its flagship handles an increase in scale of existing operations and how it manages various problems that may occur in the voice network. With any company, issues are bound to occur, so Voipfuture will have a first row seat to those episodes and will have the luxury of conversing with Partner about how its officials used Qrystal to deal with those problems.
