VoIP Helps You Stay in Touch with Customers

Whether you’re a big business, small business, or a medium one, the way to stay in the game is to stay in touch with your customers. Your existing customer base is an immeasurable treasure that is as valuable to your business as is your bottom line, because without loyal customers, the bottom line would cease to exist.

There are a lot of helpful ideas on how to stay in touch with your customers. Business VoIP provider Nextiva highlighted a few of these in a recent post, and it behooves businesses to pay attention.

Maybe you can host a customer day at your place of business, and send a special invite to your customers to let them know that you value their patronage. Loyalty keeps the customer buying.

Email marketing is a great way to reach out. If done right, your customers can get updates on the latest happenings with your business. Statistically the average opening rate is 10 percent, but if your content is good, you’re offering specials and even highlighting client businesses chances are your click-through opening rates will be higher.

Events are another way to grab attention. Invite your customers down for presentations, food and drink to get them more involved. Showcase new products at an exclusive event.

Everyone loves rewards. Perhaps implementing a rewards program where your customers can win items for referrals really go a long way and get them excited about sharing your product.

Sometimes even the simplest form of communication can go a long way. When is the last time you actually sent a thank you card in the mail to a new or returning customer? This is an art form that is lost but not forgotten. It’s amazing how a simple hand written card is to do but yet leaves quite the impression on a customer when they get it in the mail.

Of course, slightly more technologically advanced than old fashioned letter writing is an old fashioned phone call. Don’t underestimate a personal phone call when wanting to thank someone. It’s personal and shows you’ve taken the time to think of the customer.

This is where having a solid business VoIP solution can help. Business VoIP means a way to generate revenue by more effective communication with customers while meeting their needs and staying in touch, keeping your business relevant and on their minds.
