The benefits of VoIP for businesses have long been proved, and companies in this domain are providing various new services and products to attract new customers. Tilgin, a provider of software-controlled home gateways and remote management solutions, recently partnered with Media5 Corporation (News - Alert) to introduce TR-069 VoIP solutions to new business customers. Both companies have already completed interoperability testing on their ACS (News - Alert), tGem and Mediatrix VoIP gateways.
This new solution will help companies looking to introduce fully managed business VoIP solutions. Fully managed solutions like tGem are in great demand as they allow operators to monitor and troubleshoot service queries much easier than before. Monitoring is an important aspect of service for any network provider as it helps them maintain a quality in their operations.
Tilgin’s (News - Alert) ACS tGem offers remote management capabilities which help users in managing all types of CPEs. tGem addresses provides complete assistance in the full lifecycle of CPE devices in a multi-vendor context.
tGem from Tilgin is equipped with more power and the ability to handle more devices. It places Auto Configuration Server users in proactive roles and helps them in enhancing customer satisfaction and install new services in one click.
Eric Hjelmestam, VP Solutions management at Tilgin, said, “We are delighted to collaborate with Media5 and show the energy and the attractiveness of TR-069-based solutions for all players. Tilgin again expands its ecosystem with a broad range of enterprise designed VoIP adaptors and multi-service devices combining VoIP IAD, Gateway (News - Alert), IP Router, NAT/Firewall and QoS control. All of these devices can now benefit from our next-generation remote management solution, tGem, which allows service providers to deliver a rich service portfolio to their subscribers.”
Recently, the company partnered with VTech, a supplier of cordless telephones and a manufacturer of other telecom products. The partnership brings together Tilgin's gateway software and VTech's broadband gateways to introduce numerous broadband gateways and peripherals.
