Business VoIP Provider Nextiva Donates to Food Banks

Business VoIP and communications provider Nextiva recently donated 535 pounds of food, or 411 meals, to the United Food Bank. This donation is mainly aimed to offer hunger relief and food assistance for needy families in Arizona. Nextiva is located in Scottsdale, close to the areas served by the United Food Bank.

Nextiva CEO Thomas Gorny said that giving to those less fortunate is what the holidays are all about. “2010 was a great year for Nextiva, and we're happy to share that largesse with our neighbors here in Arizona.”

 “The United Food Bank's motto is ‘Neighbors Helping Neighbors,’” continued Gorny. “By donating over 500 pounds of food, Nextiva exemplified this motto and the giving spirit of the holidays.”

Founded in 2005, Nextiva, Inc., is a providers\ of business VoIP communication solutions. The company officials said that their main goal is to transform the way small businesses communicate.

Company’s main offering includes a complete digital phone system and IP-based video solution with a next-generation communications platform that gives entrepreneurs big-business phone features at small-business prices. Company’s like London Overground Rail Operations has deployed Nextiva IP-based video solution.

Nextiva IP cameras can deliver dual-stream, MPEG-4/MJPEG video up to 4CIF/30frames per second, and its dual streaming enables video to be viewed at high resolutions with excellent image clarity, but stored at lower resolution to optimize use of storage resources.

It also features high-quality CCD sensors for high resolution, high signal-to-noise ratios, and clear, crisp images, especially in typical environments where there is little or no motion. Day/night functionality and low lux sensitivity allow high-quality images to be captured in even low light.
