The hospitality industry is always looking to improve itself, mainly so hotels and motels can better serve their customers. Telecom technology provider astTECS has launched a new IP PBX integrated telephony solution that is said to offer up intelligent and tailored applications. The point of the solution is to enable hotels in the hospitality industry to better streamline and automate a number of business processes.
astTECS’ new hospitality IP PBX (News - Alert) has a number of different comprehensive communications solutions that can be applied and used to the smaller hotels and motels that have somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 rooms. The solution can also be changed in order to fit a hotel that has more than 500 rooms. The company has claimed that the solution can also be used when talking about resorts, motels and serviced apartments and rental guesthouses. In other words, as long as a company is operating in the hospitality industry it will find something useful in this set of applications.
Manjunath R J, Head of the IP PBX division, at astTECS talked about what this solution can mean for a company in a recent statement saying, “an effective communication system in place reflects the professional adequacy of a hotel. astTECS presents a competitively priced and hospitality industry focused IP-PBX solution that creates an engaging experience at every stage of the guest cycle.”
Some of the key features of the solution include auto attendant, multi-party audio and video conferencing as well as SMS based status and check-in for guests. Wake-up calls can also be managed using this IP PBX for guest rooms. Even better when it comes to improving customer service, the solution can also reach the hotel’s staff if they are off site and need to be contacted.
