Business Software Provider NetSuite Now Offering Reseller Deal in U.K.

In order to get VARs (value-added resellers) that are already working with major competitors such as Microsoft (News - Alert) cloud-based ERP (enterprise resource planning) software to switch over to NetSuite’s system, Netsuite announced today, that its SP100 sales program now has expanded to the U.K.

NetSuite is the industry's first and only Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) business software that supports your entire company—from accounting/enterprise resource planning (ERP) to customer relationship management (CRM) and Web capabilities—in one business management software solution.

The SP100 was first introduced in North America last year. The program was created to entice resellers and those who sign up receive 100 percent of first-year subscription fees, followed by 10 percent in the years following. In order to qualify for the offer, contracts must have a duration of two years at a minimum.

As part of SP100, NetSuite (News - Alert) is also offering a SuiteStart service that boasts an enrollment fee waiver, training and marketing support. Partners can also obtain a NetSuite license at no cost to run their own operations, according to a statement.

The idea is to mirror the experience partners will get when paying the up-front cash payments that on-premises software implementations require. It could also help partners cover the costs of "up-skilling" to sell cloud-based software, NetSuite said.

The offer should gain attention from Sage and Microsoft VARs, "who have not had an on-ramp to Cloud ERP, missing out on the most significant and disruptive shift in business computing since the advent of client-server [computing]," NetSuite said.

"SP100 means more partners will be attracted to NetSuite," said Ray Wang, CEO of Constellation Research, through an email. "With more partners, NetSuite can expand out to more verticals and get closer to the 'last mile' solution customers seek."
