iDiscovery Solutions Adds Reporting and Tracking Tools for e-Discovery Projects

By Jyothi Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributor

To offer uninterrupted access to information about their discovery projects, iDiscovery Solutions, Inc. (iDS), has recently introduced a dashboard tool and background information feature for its users.

Users can start using the new Electronic Document Discovery (EDD) dashboard to get an extraordinary view into e-Discovery projects in an easily available format. The dashboard also allows Early Case Assessment (ECA) into Electronically Stored Information (ESI (News - Alert)) collection as early as the initial processing stage.

In addition, users are permitted to organize, filter, and cull their collection at the touch of a button. With these utilities, case teams can get a clear insight into an ESI collection and it also allows them to build and improve project workflow and reduce the amount of data and time needed for downstream review.

“The EDD dashboard will allow project teams to quickly search and tag (News - Alert) documents for removal, triage, or to send straight to review,” said Louis Martin, senior manager at iDS. “This progressive tool gives our clients a new level of control over the ESI workflow, and allows for better case strategy and overall project cost savings.”

Apart from the introduction of the new tools, iDS intends to debut a new, easy to use client portal to offer instant, detailed access to project related metrics surrounding data processing, document review, evidence tracking, project milestones, project billing history, and more.

Users can take advantage of some exclusive features in the tool such as mobile device project reporting, “live chat” for Relativity support, and a single menu with links to all iDS hosted applications. In addition, users can get reliable information within a series of intuitive dashboards with drill down capability to an even more data-rich environment.

Ken Shuart, Senior Manager at iDS, said that the user-friendly resource center will enhance their ability to provide real time reporting to their clients who desire direct insight into information such as evidence collection results, data ingestion sizes, email timelines, search term results, and document review status.
