ORSYP Dollar Universe v6.2 Automates Business Outflows

ORSYP a provider of IT operations management solutions has unveiled version 6.2 of its Dollar Universe solution. The added features in this version will help enterprises bring together application automation workflows to enhance business value.


Previously workload automation tools identified “events” as a static series or by using timed schedule and recurrent polling. However, the synchronization of the IT workload in an organization with other external events can help minimize latency while assuring information delivery.  In addressing this challenge, Dollar Universe 6.2 enables users to synchronize existing workflows with external applications. They can also sync system events such as database updates, E-mail arrivals and supervision notifications. Any external event can now trigger an automation activity which will in turn result in quick customer response times, informed decision-making and also enhanced usage of IT resources.

As a result of the enhancements, events that are generated from Salesforce, ServiceNow and other cloud-based applications can be seamlessly synchronized with on-premises applications and systems.  Such event-based automation incidences include E-mails that are received by a retailer which can get instantly processed by Oracle (News - Alert) E-business Suite.

Similarly, changes made in salesforce.com to customer address information will instantly lead to change of details on on-premises account management and billing systems where customer data is stored.

Also database triggers can capture new cell phone sales data which will set-off a series of processes that will create new accounts in addition to managing the dispatch of customer SIM cards. SAP (News - Alert) events can schedule ABAP reports to start running automatically, once user-submitted requests are received.

Advanced oracle database integration, business visualization of IT workflows are the other major application integration and efficiency improvements that are now included in the Dollar Universe 6.2, added company executives.

In 2013, ORSYP introduced the UConverter which is an automated conversion toolset that allows organizations to leverage existing job definitions when upgrading to ORSYP Dollar Universe for enterprise job scheduling and workload automation. As highlighted at that time, most organizations rely on multiple islands of automation to support critical business application workloads, but the use of outdated job schedulers causes errors and delays. UConverter delivers a unified enterprise solution that can replace legacy tools and is equipped to address future workload automation challenges, it also minimizes any potential conversion overheads – saving time and lowering costs.
