AP Technology is allowing organizations to add security and automation to the check signing process with the release of ezSigner Direct.

This single-pass, check and document signing solution allows signatures to be added during the print process or as a second pass.

"ezSigner helps organizations improve controls around their payment and check signing process,” said Adam Hansley, director of Sales for AP Technology.

Thanks to ezSigner Direct, businesses no longer have to invest time and resources on maintaining check signing machines, use rubber stamps or manually sign checks.

Businesses have the option of signing the documents at the time they are printed by choosing the ezSigner print driver. If the signatory wants an opportunity to review the items first, the documents can also be printed without signatures and then signed in a second pass.

Users can easily format, add and import signatures, text and graphics as per the requirement of the business. All printing activity is tracked through audit and event logs and ezSigner Direct also enable users to track check numbers.

Few businesses want more security than others and these can further enhance the security by applying a security watermark behind each signature.

AP Technology notes its ezSigner Direct is an edge above other check signing solutions available in the market as it allows software operators to securely sign documents in just one pass through the printer.

“Companies can download a trial version for 30-days to evaluate the software," adds Hansley.

AP Technology provides payment origination software. Late last year the company partnered with AIMS, a developer of accounting software solutions for the petroleum market, to bring AIMS financial application users check and form printing solutions.

This alliance allows AIMS software users to benefit from secure payment solutions that seamlessly with their AIMS accounting application to boost the security and efficiency of their check issuance process.
