Sima Solution Announces Integration with IBM's SoftLayer Tools

By Mini Swamy, TMCnet Contributor

Today, businesses must be both agile and mobile, capable of responding to evolving customer demands and dynamic marketplace conditions at a moment’s notice. Of course, they need the right personnel, technologies and techniques in place to keep their IT programs healthy and performing optimally. Sima Solutions’ recently announced integration with IBM's SoftLayer Tools aims to help companies do just that.

“IBM's SoftLayer (News - Alert) technology is a very exciting development that allows Sima to develop and implement on an innovative infrastructure as a service (IaaS) platform designed for Web native, performance-intensive applications; the platform affords us unparalleled flexibility and security in the development phase for our clients," said Jim Pollitt, president of Sima Solutions LLC, in a statement.

The new integration is expected to provide companies with a secure platform to test various best practices that encourage mobile participation and client engagement.

Sima Solutions focuses on performance-tuning and business process management (BPM), and also offers seamless transitions to service-oriented architecture (SOA). It is one of only three companies selected to participate in IBM’s (News - Alert) elite WebSphere program. Leveraging IBM’s WebSphere software suite to support Sima Solutions’ SOA, organizations can respond swiftly to evolving conditions, emerging customer demands, and other changes in their business environment.

"When combined with our WebSphere skillset; Sima engineers now have even more advanced technology available to them to develop real-world solutions that increase efficiencies and maximize our client's return on investment," said Pollitt.

Sima Solutions’ engineers study and optimize a company's software best practices process to increase efficiencies and inter-company communication. They then evaluate and ‘fine tune’ installed programs on clients' servers to maximize software performance.

The company explains that the realized efficiencies and communications gains more than offset the costs of implementation.
