Worksoft recently announced that its automated business process validation platform Worksoft Certify is now integrated with Atlassian’s JIRA issue and project management software.

Jim Dugger, director of product management at Worksoft, said “Our integration with ALM software such as JIRA demonstrates our continued commitment to better serve customers seeking compatibility with highly agile cloud solutions.”

Worksoft Certify enables automated business process validation of SAP (News - Alert) and the ecosystem of software that surrounds it. Its cloud-enabled architecture ensures the continuation of critical business processes without any glitches when changes are made to underlying applications.

Both companies believe that the integration of Worksoft Certify and JIRA will benefit their respective user bases, as they will now be able to record and track the results of Worksoft Certify’s automated business process tests. Moreover, it is expected that users will be able to easily submit incident tickets directly into JIRA, with the help of an existing workflows and defect management processes.

Thanks to incorporation of Worksoft Certify within JIRA workflows, users now can view data, report issues and seek resolution.

Company’s officials said that the new capability was developed after seeing the growing use of cloud-based application lifecycle management (ALM) solutions by Worksoft’s customers.

According to recent market reports, companies are increasingly focusing on real-time decision making, which is driving the global ALM market. An analyst from TechNavio's Enterprise Computing team said that the cloud offers ALM users “a pay-per-use model, which provides cost-effective accessibility and a paradigm whereby the ALM solution can be accessed at any time and in any place by multiple users.”

“As we observe greater adoption of cloud-based management tools, we are pleased to expand our support for customers using a wide array of enterprise solutions for defect management,” Dugger said.
