JDSU Deploys FirstRain Customer Insights

JDSU (News - Alert) is a company that innovates and collaborates with customers to build and operate high performing and high value networks.  The company says that its diverse technology portfolio also fights counterfeiting and enables high-powered commercial lasers for a range of applications. 


Thanks to FirstRain Customer Insights, which is built on the Salesforce Platform, JDSU will now be able to easily access relevant business insights and analytics in a timely manner to improve sales and marketing effectiveness.

The Salesforce Platform is a comprehensive cloud platform for building social and mobile cloud apps. It powers Salesforce CRM, more than three million custom apps built by customers and more than 2,000 apps developed by partners in its ecosystem.

Weber said that these are the insights that help them build stronger relationships with their top customers and more strategically act on the opportunities and risks within their target markets.

Earlier in October, FirstRain, a major player in big data analytics for enterprise sales and marketing teams, announced that it has launched Customer Insights on Salesforce.com's AppExchange, empowering businesses to connect with customers, partners and employees in entirely new ways.

FirstRain's Customer Insights solution on AppExchange now includes improved and more seamless user access, simpler installation and quicker and more easily deployed enterprise integration.
