SmartVault Announces Integration with ImageFORMULA Document Scanners

SmartVault has announced software integration with imageFORMULA document scanners, provided by Canon (News - Alert) U.S.A.


The company expects to offers the benefit of this integration to businesses and accounting firms that have to manage paper-intensive workflows. Company officials said the integration supports a true end-to-end digital workflow, which enables businesses and accounting firms to improve their efficiency.

With imageFORMULA document scanners, it is easier to convert paper documents. The document scanning allows the integration of documents directly into the electronic workflow, according to industry experts. This enables companies to streamline their businesses and improve collaboration across the organization.    

Calling the latest integration the “ultimate turbo-boost to efficiency” for businesses that want to go paperless and work in the cloud, Eric Pulaski, founder and CEO of SmartVault, said that the integration with the imageFORMULA line of document scanners will prove “exceptionally helpful” and “exciting” for the company’s customers.

“The customers can quickly and easily set a unique scanning profile to scan and attach documents directly to specific folders in SmartVault with a single action.”

To users, the integration provides the ability to set scanner profiles for one-touch scan-to-the-cloud efficiency. Moreover, it also offers the advantage of automatic file naming for quick search of a document, which makes retrieving of information easy.

Additionally, the company also announced the seamless integration with QuickBooks, a small business accounting software. Company officials said that this integration enables users to scan and attach documents directly to a QuickBooks entry through the integrated SmartVault Toolbar using a single push of a button.

Recently, Nexonia announced the three-way integration between SmartVault, Nexonia, and the users’ accounting system -- QuickBooks or Xero -- to offer a streamlined solution for automating workflow from expense entry through to having the expense source document accessed directly from the accounting system.
