From the last few years many companies are looking for ways to improve their internal operations while reducing their paper consumption and improving efficiency and reduce costs. The paper reduction efforts by these companies have saved their thousands or even millions of dollars as well as earn them a reputation for being environmentally conscious.
In order to implementing a paper reduction campaign, a major global bank in Europe has increased its investment in Kofax software by $2.3 million to process more than 350 million documents per year.
This announcement has been made by Kofax, a provider of smart process applications for the business critical First Mile of customer interactions.
The European bank has increased investment includes Kofax Capture, Kofax Transformation Modules and Kofax Mobile Capture to process forms, documents, trailing documents, and checks.
Howard Dratler, Executive Vice President of Field Operations at Kofax, said in a statement, “Financial services is a very competitive industry, with many customers frustrated by slow processes or errors that are difficult to correct, Kofax’s cutting edge solutions ensure that our customers can process transactions fast, keep costs low, and make their clients happy.”
Kofax’s software allows the bank to automate capture processes at the Point of Origination in branches and customer facing interactions instead of forwarding them to a central scanning facility.
These softwares help bank to become more efficient by improving in its processing speed and enabling bank employees to focus more time on customer service and other critical tasks.
The bank will also implement Kofax Mobile Capture to enable remote deposit capture and the capture of trailing documents, offering customers greater convenience.
Kofax Capture offers scan-to-archive capabilities that make scanning documents easy and fast. It also enabes users to create digital images, extracting index data for retrieval purposes and delivering the images and associated data to a variety of repositories and applications.
Kofax Transformation Modules includes document classification, page separation, data extraction and validation capabilities to Kofax Capture to drive robust capture-to-process applications.
