Gartner (News - Alert), Inc., an information technology research and advisory company, recently positioned Amdocs in the Leaders quadrant of the Magic Quadrant for Integrated Revenue and Customer Management for communications service providers.
Amdocs (News - Alert) is a major provider of customer experience systems and services. It has successfully delivered complex transformation projects with solutions that are production proven for customers around the globe.
Officials said that the Gartner’s 2012 Integrated Revenue and Customer Management Magic Quadrant report successfully assesses vendors' ability to execute and completeness of vision.
Gartner identifies Leaders as those vendors who would normally be included in shortlists for IRCM solutions for large and midsize CSPs worldwide, perform profitably, grow their revenue, have a presence in all major markets, have functionality above average and engage in innovative projects and activities, carefully listening to their customer base.
"We believe our positioning in the Leaders quadrant by Gartner is an affirmation of our ability to deliver innovative solutions that address service providers' core business needs," said Rebecca Prudhomme, vice president for product and solutions marketing at Amdocs, in a statement.
She further added: "The combination of Amdocs CES (News - Alert) ? a comprehensive BSS, OSS and network control portfolio that manages the complete customer experience from device to the network, and Amdocs' wide range of proven services, means that Amdocs is uniquely positioned to offer support for service providers' end-to-end business lifecycle."
In related TNC news, Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert) has selected Amdocs as the Telecom BSS Vendor of the Year for the third consecutive year, as part of its 2012 Asia Pacific ICT Awards.
