Kofax Optimizes Enterprise Capture Platform with Enhanced Capabilities

Kofax, a provider of capture driven process automation solutions, recently announced that it was extending its enterprise capture platform by adding powerful new capabilities which will help users to manage critical information across their enterprises more effectively.


Now that Kofax has extended its high volume capture capabilities, customers will now not only have a robust process for safely capturing all types of inbound information but will also be able to immediately extract and validate the accuracy of information on which their organization thrives. Kofax’s new capture driven process automation solutions will boost productivity levels, reduce operation costs and errors that are normally associated with manual tasks, as well as improve the overall quality of information.

In a release, Jim Nicol, Executive Vice President of Products at Kofax, said, “Our market leadership and global customer base are proof that Kofax’s capture driven process automation solutions deliver the most scalable and powerful software available. These new capabilities make Kofax’s market leading solutions even easier to leverage across the enterprise. These capabilities reduce the costs associated with training and support and increase efficiency and productivity across the enterprise.”

Some of the new and improved features of Kofax capture driven process automation solutions include:

  • Browser-based deployment where Kofax Capture modules can now be deployed and operated within the browser, enabling scanning, indexing, validation and overall operations to function within a thin client environment, significantly reducing deployment costs;
  • User centric interface where capture operations will now extend into front office, customer facing processes at remote branch locations and new departments within an organization, a standardized, intuitive user interface is vital for ensuring ease of use while reducing training and support costs;
  • Expanded customization tools that offer improved filtering and search capabilities, as well as enhanced workflow capabilities and expanded application programming interfaces (APIs) allow administrators to customize and prioritize applications; and
  • Expanded language packs that allow client facing applications to run in the user’s preferred language.
