The answer to an efficient, productive workspace and cost reduction appears to lie in allowing employees bring their own device (BYOD), but with hundreds of different devices being used, IT departments are being challenged with the cyber risks that the new environment has created.
However, Vir2us has launched an automation technology, the Genesis product line, that promises to satisfy everyone: the user, the customer, the firm and even the IT personnel. Quite a tall order!
Genesis, an automation technology, claims to allow firms to perform high-speed, complex computer services in just minutes. More than that, it automates IT services for almost all brands and models of computers, and allows users to self-service their computers, reducing costs by almost 70 percent and improving service delivery times.
“Genesis was designed to meet the needs of corporate computer users. Customers have been delighted with the speed, efficiency and comprehensiveness of the services,” said Anthony More, chief technology officer at Vir2us, adding, “User satisfaction with corporate IT services has been elusive in many firms. BYOD is bringing this issue into sharp focus.”
With CIO Magazine indicating that more than 60 percent of companies have implemented or are planning some implementation of BYOD, the manual transition from a few computers to hundreds of devices could be a nightmare, but with Genesis, which fully automates much of what IT service providers and firms spend more than half their time dealing with everyday, the process is a breeze.
