Fiberlink is at the forefront of helping businesses adopt mobility and bring your own device (BYOD) strategy. MaaS360 (News - Alert) from Fiberlink is a comprehensive mobile device management platform for enabling and securing mobile applications, documents and devices.
Just weeks after earning recognition from Gartner (News - Alert) for its MaaS360 mobile device management platform, May Mitchell, vice president of channels at Fiberlink, has been recognized by UBM Tech Channel's CRN as one of the top Women of the Channel.
Mitchell was selected as one of 300 female executives across vendor channel organizations, distributors and solution providers for her impact on the industry over the past year. The selection was based on achievements as executives and the amount of influence the women wield over the technology channel.
The Fiberlink's MaaSters Partner Program has experienced tremendous growth since Mitchell joined the company last year, according to company officials.
"It's an honor to be recognized alongside the other accomplished women on this year's list," said Mitchell. "As momentum continues to build behind Fiberlink's partner program, we are looking forward to enabling our partners to quickly build a profitable mobility practice with a proven solution that delivers high customer satisfaction."
Mitchell has more than 20 years of experience in IT security, infrastructure and mobile solutions targeting enterprise and SMBs. She previously worked for companies McAfee, Websense, IronKey and Computer Associates (News - Alert).
This is not the first such accolade for Mitchell. Previously in 2010 and 2011, she was recognized as one of the top 100 Women in the Channel, and as a Channel Chief in 2011 and 2012 by CRN. Fiberlink was recognized with five-star ratings from CRN’s Partner Program Guide, which recognizes vendors with channel programs and that derive a portion of their sales through the indirect IT Channel.
"We honor and congratulate this list of influential women who are dedicated to supporting the mission of the channel," said Robert Faletra, CEO, UBM Tech Channel. "For years, we have identified and celebrated the women who have made an indelible mark on the technology industry through unmatched innovation and razor focus on meeting the needs of the IT channel community."
