Capture enabled business process management (BPM) solutions provider, Kofax has launched the latest version of its BPM and dynamic case management software Kofax TotalAgility 6.0 with key enhancements.

Facilitating users to manage business processes efficiently, the Kofax TotalAgility 6.0 is available as a cloud based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) subscription offering hosted on Windows Azure and under a perpetual license model for on premise deployments.

As a BPM and dynamic case management software, the Kofax TotalAgility 6.0 provides users with key benefits by streamlining the processing of critical information in a more efficient, productive and consistent manner.

This feature allows users to be more responsive to their constituents, provide better service levels, gain competitive advantage and grow the organization, while reducing costs and improving regulatory compliance.

"Kofax continues to demonstrate its commitment to the Microsoft (News - Alert) community with TotalAgility 6, the first BPM and case management platform hosted on Windows Azure," said Kim Akers, general manager for ISV partners at Microsoft Corp., in a statement. "Working together with Microsoft, Kofax can focus on expanding its capture-enabled BPM solution to a broader range of customers."

According to Kofax, the latest version of TotalAgility was integrated with key enhancements to accelerate deployments through an intuitive process design and execution experience.

With the enhancements, TotalAgility Workspace and TotalAgility Builder are now completely browser based, thereby making it much easier for users to design, deploy and operate these solutions. In addition, multiple form factors are also supported to deliver better user experiences to mobile device users.

As a cloud based SaaS subscription offering, Kofax TotalAgility will enable users to avoid significant capital expenditures and other on premise deployment costs while offering immediate access to the software.

Martyn Christian, chief marketing officer at Kofax, said in the release, "By offering Kofax TotalAgility as a cloud based SaaS solution, we've effectively freed customers from capital expenditure and IT resource constraints and provided complete BPM and dynamic case management deployment flexibility so they can better grow their businesses."

In recent news, Kofax was awarded a new contract from U.S. government agency.
