3rd Party Remote Call Monitoring: LabTech Software Integrates Reflexion's Suite of E-mail Services

Like 3rd party remote call monitoring, remote application monitoring is gaining relevance. While 3rd party remote call monitoring helps companies ensure the quality of calls and improve customer service, remote app monitoring helps them manage their IT apps in a secure and efficient manner.


Recently, LabTech Software, a provider of remote monitoring and management (RMM) solutions, announced it has integrated Reflexion Networks' suite of e-mail services to provide a simple and automated way to ensure the integrity and health of mission-critical hosted e-mail services.

The integration enables monitoring the availability of the Reflexion Total Control (RTC) and Reflexion Archiving, Discovery and Recovery (RADAR) services' user interface, instantly sending an alert if service is interrupted.

These alerts help IT solutions providers better maintain and support these mission-critical applications for MSPs to ensure that they continue to meet their customers' demands, according to company officials.

LabTech can also monitor the latency of the Reflexion mail scanner to immediately detect inbound or outbound latency, sending an alert if any is found. This would allow the company to identify incidents that affect the services as quickly as possible and take necessary steps to ensure service quality.

Reflexion Total Control is a hosted e-mail security service that blocks spam, viruses and volume-based attacks before they reach the corporate network. RADAR provides business with a complete, searchable e-mail archive that can be accessed at anytime from anywhere on the Internet.

"We view integrations such as the one we've developed with Reflexion to be a valuable way to extend the value and power of our leading Remote Monitoring and Management platform with maximum automation and efficiency ," said Matt Nachtrab, CEO of LabTech, in a statement.

"E-mail remains one of the most important and effective business tools companies have, so working with Reflexion to ensure that e-mail systems remain viable to our MSPs' customer base allows them to better support those customers in a simple and cost-effective manner,” Nachtrab added.

Recently TMCnet interviewed an official from BPA, a provider of 3rd party remote call monitoring services. According to the BPA official, the biggest trends in this market segment would have to be in the creation of more robust tools for data analysis, which can break down the data and provide usable information for call centers to become even better.
