Business Library for Social Media Launched by Sysomos

An online content resource and business library has been introduced by Sysomos, allowing the power of social media and social media monitoring to be leveraged by professionals in many disciplines. According to TechCrunch, a billion tweets are collectively sent by Twitter (News - Alert) users each week, and every day, on average, 460,000 new Twitter accounts are also created. There are also more than 500-million active users for Facebook. The value of listening to and engaging in the social stream is now being recognized by professionals of every discipline after absorbing these numbers. The communications or customer service teams within an organization usually own the channel for social media. Opportunities for brand awareness, sales and reputation management are also increasing.
