Seeking to improve payment rates and decrease the number of live agents needed to handle collections transactions, Premiere Global Services upgraded its Collections Accelerator solution recently.
With the Collections Accelerator, a voice interface is used to contact past due clients—eliminating the need for live agents and the costs associated with mailing and printing past due notifications. The new upgrade included an expansion of the forms of payment accepted.
According to a news release, the Collections Accelerator provides "an automated method of payment capture for Automated Clearing House (ACH)/debit card users" and the newly added feature was included "in response to the dramatic increase in electronic payments and debit card usage by consumers."
Lee Provow, President, Data Communications, Premiere Global Services Inc. said in a statement to the press, "Collections Accelerator's simple, easy to use voice interface allows our clients to use spoken word commands, simplifying their customer's payment of past due accounts while helping our enterprise clients save 50 percent or more over the cost of live agents and other payment methods."
