California-based open-source VoIP consultancy company CallFire.com is always announcing new and innovative ways to create and upgrade call campaigns to ensure business is as productive and successful as possible for its customers.
And, with the release of the company’s new remote control, CallFire customers have a better way of managing their campaigns.
Keeping that in mind, let’s first talk about what the new feature actually is.
“CallFire remote control is free for CallFire customers and lets you start, stop and create campaigns right from your telephone,” company officials said.
For example, say a principal at a school wants to announce a snow day, the principal can use his computer to set up his CallFire voice broadcast campaign to notify his family contacts that the kids can stay in bed, and parents can stay off the roads.
But, a frequent result of snow storms is a loss and power, what happens if, when the principal goes to turn on the computer, the power is out?
Luckily, with CallFire’s new remote control feature, the principal can use his or her powered cell phone to create a cancellation message. And then, the principal can use the cell phone to also send the message to its family contacts.
“CallFire’s remote control gives you campaign control when you can’t work from your PC,” company officials said, adding that the system is very simple once a contact list is in place.
By comply with the three steps below, you too can use your cell phone to reach contacts for any situation, no matter the state of your computer:
1) Dial the remote control hotline: 213.221.3805
2) Type in user id and password. This is found under toolbox –> sound manager at the top of the page.
3) Listen to the recording- you will need to know the campaign id, phonebook id depending on what it is you are trying to do by remote control.
Note: Keeping a sheet of all of your IDs may be a helpful tool when using remote control.
