IVR, VoiceXML Solution Provider CallFire Targets Small Businesses

By Calvin Azuri, TMCnet Contributor

May small businesses reportedly are taking advantage of services from CallFire – a provider of cloud telephony solutions such as Voice API, Virtual Call Center, Hosted IVR, Call Tracking, VoiceXML (News - Alert), Voice API and Voice Broadcast services – to send voice updates to their customers and increases their sales.

It’s a simple procedure of sending out messages to a list of potential customers. These customers get a call from a caller-ID which unanimously reads – in one case – “Dave the Shoe Guy.” The message informs them of the newest offer, the latest discount or the complimentary gift that is being given away. This has helped prospective customers stay updated on products they may wish to purchase. Today, customers can also update their iPhone (News - Alert) calendars with details of the sale so that they get a reminder the next day.

David the Shoe Guy – who sells shoes through his Web site – said that he had recently held a Super Bowl Blowout Sale’ and sent out a CallFire message to all of his customers at 8:30 am on Super Bowl Sunday morning. It wasn’t long before he found over 100 female shoe-lovers lined up in front of his shoe salon in 20 degree weather. As a result, his business made over $150,000 that day, thanks to the services offered by CallFire.

Since then, the entrepreneur has taken advantage of CallFire’s voice broadcast service to automatically relay his voice message to all of his clients, instantly. He uses this technology to keep his customers aware of new products, promotions and many of his celebrity endorsements.

Those clients who subscribe for Dave’s voice broadcasts get first chance at buying the latest styles. If no one answers the phone, CallFire even leaves a message for you. After using CallFire for close to a year and noticing the results Dave went on to say that “CallFire has been a blessing during these tough times. My business continues to grow by leaps and bounds by around 20% annually as a direct result of me being able to quickly and easily get voice messages to my customers.”

CallFire is known for providing highly-scalable and affordable Cloud Telephony solutions that includes Voice API, Virtual Call Center, Hosted IVR, Call Tracking, VoiceXML, Voice API and Voice Broadcast services.
